If you want to Travel to other Countries (Border-Control), you should know some things:
- Buy a older Acer Laptop with Micro SSD Harddisk and SATA CDROM Slot
- Buy a SATA CDROM Adaptor for 10$, open the Laptop and remove the SATA Drive put it into the SATA Adaptor
- Don’t put Screws into the Laptop to the Adaptorslot so that you can pull out quick the SSD drive
- Install Ubuntu Linux with LUKS Disk full encryption! DOWNLOAD here
- Buy a privacy Shield-Sticker onto the TFT
- To extend security use USB-WIFI Dongle for WIFI Connections! (MAC Address Spoofing)
Or:
- Buy a older Laptop, remove the Harddrive and plugin a Micro-USB Stick 16GB with installed Tails OS (TOR)
- Buy a privacy Shield-Sticker onto the TFT
- To extend security use USB-WIFI Dongle for WIFI Connections! (MAC Address Spoofing)
Or:
- Buy a older Laptop remove the SATA Harddrive and plugin a USB Stick with Crunchbang Linux
- Buy a privacy Shield-Sticker onto the TFT
- To extend security use USB-WIFI Dongle for WIFI Connections! (MAC Address Spoofing)
To this:
- On all Solutions remove the BATTERY if not REALLY needed! This offers fast POWER OFF by pulling the Cable!
- Don’t save Photos/Data on the Laptops, or USB-Sticks unencrypted, use Luks Containers! Always use USB Sticks, see my last Posts.
- Don’t use or trust Smartphones on the Journey! (Border Scanning)
- Buy some WIFI Dongles 2-3$ for only one USE! Destroy them daily/weekly
- All ISO Files can be put on a USB Stick with usb-creator-gtk-Howto
- USE ALWAYS HTTPS, try to USE Iceland/Sweden DNS SERVERS!
- Physical DESTROY by hammering on the Laptop+HDD/all USB-Sticks if you feel unsecure!
- Don’t trust foreign WIFI Networks, Proxies or LTE Networks (IPV6 Problems)
- Reboot the Laptop daily/hourly to prevent infections like keyboard loggers.
- Don’t leave a powered on Laptop! not for a second..
- Check public places or cams, foreign Smartphones etc.
- Change public WIFI Networks DAILY, only ONE USE for ONE connect!
- Create a unused E-Mail Account for the time of the travel! Nobody should have access to the history
- Don’t use or post social media! ..less is more..
